If you use software to interact with and deliver your services to your customers, this is the program for you.  
Demographics

We're looking for all founders that qualify under the New Majority.

This means People of Color, Women, the LGBTQ community, and not least of all, our brothers and sisters in the Differently-abled community.
Traction

We need some form of quantifiable traction...period.

This can take the form of paying customers, active users, engaged email subscriber lists and in some cases traffic. If you are in the idea stage, unfortunately this program is not a fit.
Team

As a software-centric team, you need to have a product lead.

This can take the form of someone who knows how to code or someone who can mange your tech stack and implement changes on the fly to your core product.

The deadline

When is the application due?

The application process ends on April 5th. Once you start your application, you'll receive an alert should you run close to the deadline.
Am I eligible?

Who is this program for?

This program is for founders who are post MVP and have some market traction. This could be in the form of beta customers or paid customers. We just want to see that you have a working product that is out in the wild.
Selection process

How does 1863 choose who gets accepted?

After you apply, our team will review your application and schedule an interview. We will take the data from your application and combine that with the insight form our interview to make a decision. We rank applications based on the factors detailed in the below scoring model.
Time commitment

How much of my time will this require?

The program lasts for 5 weeks where we meet twice a week. As our program is designed to give you actionable insight and real-time feedback, it requires a commitment of two full days per week. For the remainder of the week, you are able to focus on your business, apply what you learned and receive coaching from our team.
Seats per team

How many people from each team can participate?

It is recommended that one of your team members attend so that the other can focus on the business but we will allow one additional team member join such as a CTO. Please note that space is limited so we ask you to confirm how many attendees upon acceptance.
